Peter Skillen of KQED’s Mind/Shift blog has narrowed down some aspects for a classroom to successfully use project-based learning. Here is an extremely condensed version of his post:

-Trust
-Questioning
-Collaboration
-Content
-Knowledge
-Purpose

These qualities can’t happen without the other and without the help from the proper environment. Project Based Learning is something I am very interested in having in my future classroom – so long as it is successful and effective. This is something that can be done after the tone of the class is set and expectations are clear. This article is a great to bookmark for future reference.
